So it came time for Sandra & Derick to wed. It was a bright sunny July day and the air was full of love.

This isn’t technically a full wedding that I was hired to cover as mentioned in this previous post. I was to cover the latter portion of the evening so I enjoyed the first half of the wedding day mostly as a guest (I did sneak the camera out for a few shots).

It was a wonderful wedding and one that still brings a smile to my face everytime I look at this photos.

Joy & Eric’s wedding would be a unique one for me. No, I had already shot one that required a long drive but it was the first where I had to deal with the elements. It rained most of that morning and the ceremony was performed during a brief break in the weather. The clouds were dramatic, the wedding’s beauty only dwarfed by the love this couple shared.
